One of my last projects back in Miami had a lot of javascript coding. We had to create javascript sliders. It was really difficult to trace their values with alert window. I found out that Firefox Firebug has option for tracing, but we needed to test application in IE as well. So I found JsTrace script, which helped usa lot. Below is screenshot from their demo.
